My first experience of this well known local Inn. We had a really enjoyable Christmas get together. The food and service were great especially as they were dealing with a large group.
Charming family run local pub just out of town on the A6 at Chorley. Warm and inviting. Food available also takes occasion bookings. Beers and spirits well stocked although a tad pricey. Parking around the adequate.
Great beer, the food was in the medium quality range. The mashed potatoes were lumpy the lamb shank wasn't falling off the bone as described and I've had better steak too. It wasn't bad enough to complain and we weren't asked about the meals. Would definitely call in again for a drink and possibly give the food another try!
