Firstly, if you want an appointment you have to ring dot on 8am and that's just for a morning appointment, for the afternoon you must ring at 2pm and there's usually a queue of people trying to get through all at once. The Doctors and nurses don't seem that educated, it's impressive that some of them are even qualified. The doctors and nurses could be a little bit more welcoming, instead they seem totally distracted and not interested in what you tell them. Very RUDE doctors and nurses here, they look like it pains them to ask you what's wrong with you. As I was saying very unprofessional mannerisms on a whole and seem very uneducated about numerous health conditions. They usually just prescribe whatever is new in the works. They don't seem to check you can even take what they prescribe along with other things you might be taking. (VERY DANGEROUS) but then again it's all money here so don't actually expect them to help you. I've been waiting for a referral for a year and half and I suspect it's not actually been made! As someone below said, they don't care if you live or die. As long as they can drive away in their flash cars that's what they care about. AVOID AT ALL COST.
You have to be fast on the phone to get appointments , I rang dead on 8 and I was 9th in the queue, doctor I saw did not listen to what I was saying (previously referred to specialist and would not put me back in contact, told to try other creams first???). If you have bad eczmah they don't want to know
Some weeks ago I went in early to ask for an appointment. The surgery had no patients: the waiting room stood empty. The receptionist told me I'd have to come back before two pm to make an appointment. I had an appointment to make an appointment!Delights me to see so many good reviews. To me, the qualities or skills of the physicians aren't worth a grunt if you need to make an appointment to make an appointment to see one.No stars, Docs. (Google forces one or it won't post the comment!-) But then, you're all well-paid whether the patients live or die, so no worries. But there might be another reason why the waiting-room stood empty: 5-minutes by bus to A & E.
The best GP around. Always give whatever appointment they can, doctors have stayed late to see my baby, the staff are all so friendly and helpful.
This is the best surgery I have ever been to. All the staff, whichever role are very professional, helpful and caring. The Gp's are fantastic. My regular GP is Dr Healey who is the most caring and understanding doctor I have ever seen and puts me at ease with her understanding, caring nature. She really does whatever she can to enable me to tell her anything so easily which has been something I have never been able to feel like with a doctor. This surgery is definitely a five star rating if not more!
