Superb service and honesty. I have taken my old VW to 4 garages and although old world tech some refuse to touch it 'because its old' and others want a premium. With James and the team our bus is safe and looked after. Very reasonable prices for a classic work too - some classic mechanics charge a mint because they think they have exclusivity to a market.... its a van! But its a van we like to have the confidence of having been well maintained and anything unseen pointed out to us. Have also been in with a modern car where brakes warning light came on.... another german manufacturer have the software to tell you the brake pads are worn and need urgent replacement - Jim took the wheels off to point out there was probably 5k miles left in them and to save our money until we need them - no charge! Can't top that!
Took my BMW here for a full service and was very happy with the work undertaken. They greased all the hinges and did a full safety check which I noticed from the seat belts being all clipped in front and back which was a nice touch. Prices were very reasonable and one of the mechanics showed me my previous air filter which looked like it hadn't been changed in a while even though it has been supposedly serviced by another garage before. Will be going back to have my brakes doing at some point. Thanks.
